Director roles in the Social discipline saw a modest +1% year-on-year increase in average day rates. In contrast, all other experience levels saw declines, with Midweight roles facing the largest drop of -8% year-on-year.

Contract Length and Bookings

The Social discipline experienced a decrease of -23% on contract lengths, with contracts lasting 27 working days on average (just over 5 weeks). Top 10% contracts also experienced a decrease, -10% year-on-year, securing contracts averaging 81 working days (16 weeks). 

All experience levels saw a decline, with Director roles experiencing the most significant drop of -48% year-on-year.

Despite these fluctuations, bookings in the Social discipline grew by +32% year-on-year. Social bookings displayed notable fluctuations, peaking in January and July, with a steady decline over the summer months before recovering towards the end of the year.

Within the Social discipline, Social Media Analysts emerged as the top earners, averaging £400 per day (£50 per hour).
